Our mission is to ignite the spark of creativity in young people, equipping them with the skills and confidence to excel in photography, videography, web design, graphic design, and beyond. We are committed to providing safe, inclusive, and supportive spaces where young people can explore their passions without fear or limitations. Our state-of-the-art facilities are designed to inspire and encourage collaboration, ensuring that every student feels valued and respected. By prioritizing safety and inclusivity, we create an atmosphere where creativity can flourish and ideas can take flight.
Our dedicated instructors and mentors play a pivotal role in maintaining these safe learning spaces. Each member of our team is not only an expert in their field but also trained in creating a positive and encouraging learning atmosphere. We emphasize respect, empathy, and open communication, allowing students to express themselves freely and confidently. This supportive environment helps our students to overcome challenges, embrace their individuality, and achieve their full potential.
In addition to physical safety, we place a strong emphasis on digital safety. As our programs involve extensive use of technology, we teach our students about responsible digital citizenship, privacy, and cybersecurity. Our curriculum includes best practices for online behavior, ensuring that our students can navigate the digital world securely and responsibly. Revive Minds is a non-profit organization focused on developing creative skills in youth through community outreach, seminars, conferences, and workshops. It provides valuable assistance in cultivating employable creative art skills among disadvantaged individuals and school dropouts in underserved communities in Ghana.
MEET THE TEAM
DENNIS TEMITURO
FOUNDER AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Dennis Temituro is a professional photographer and founder of Comme Lab, a media firm dealing in photography, graphic design, events, branding, cinematography, and digital media.
He captures lasting visual experiences for clients through pictures and videos of festivals, sports, landscapes, education, and lifestyle. He has worked with brands such as the G3 Africa, University of Dundee-UK, Academic City University College, Accra, Lema Concepts Africa, Graduate Guidance Group, Barry Calibaut, Tel Energy and Spektra Global.
In a quest to give back, he founded “Revive Minds.” supporting less privileged students and dropouts through creative art skills. Dennis is passionate about celebrating African heritage.
AILEEN OWUSU-DARKO
CO-FOUNDER AND DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMS & OPERATIONS
Mrs. Aileen Owusu Darko is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in leadership, advocacy, and community development. Currently serving as the Co-founder and Director of Programs & Operations for Revive Minds LBG, Aileen plays a pivotal role in spearheading initiatives aimed at empowering individuals and families.
At Revive Minds, she leads the implementation of internship programs, career guidance workshops, entrepreneurship training, and scholarship initiatives. She collaborates closely with communities and schools, inspiring and nurturing artistic talents among disadvantaged individuals and school dropouts in underserved areas of Ghana.
In addition to her role at Revive Minds, Aileen is renowned as a passionate Child & Family Advocate and the founder of The SHE Nest Foundation, an advocacy group dedicated to championing initiatives that foster holistic growth and well-being among communities. She has over 12 years of experience working with leading Investment Banks and Management Consultancy firms in Ghana, a role that has honed her leadership skills and enabled her to leverage a strategic and dynamic network to drive positive change.
Aileen’s commitment to youth empowerment extends beyond her professional endeavors. She is a respected public speaker on topics including marriage, youth empowerment, and family life advocacy. As the Convener of the “SHE is Unique Conference,” an annual event addressing topical issues relevant to young adults, Aileen actively promotes discussions on business, marriage, relationships, and healthy living.
Passionate about promoting a healthier lifestyle, Aileen has established Bounty Treats, producers of organic and cold-pressed fruit and vegetable juices in Tema.
Aileen’s visionary approach is centered on equipping young people with the skills and opportunities essential for becoming confident, innovative, and influential members of society.
She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology, Kumasi, and a BSc in Psychology from the University of Ghana, Legon. She is an alumna of Wesley Girls’ High School, Cape Coast.
STEPHANIE HANSON
ADMINISTRATOR
Stephanie M. E. Hanson is a dynamic individual with a strong educational background from the University of Ghana, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Consumer Sciences. Her expertise lies in consumer behaviour analysis, market research, and product development.
With a proven track record in administrative roles, Stephanie has held positions at reputable organisations such as Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) and Tema General Hospital, where she provided valuable support in information management and office operations.
Additionally, her experience as an assistant carer and nutritional aide at Nabilla Williams Early Childhood Study Centre underscores her adaptability and robust interpersonal abilities. Stephanie’s exceptional compassion and patience create a nurturing atmosphere for those under her care.
Currently serving as an Administrator at Revive Minds LBG, Stephanie excels in multitasking, effective communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
Stephanie’s dedication to empowering her community and her commitment to achieving excellence not only make her an adept administrator but also a source of hope and inspiration to those she encounters.
She loves to sing and is currently part of the ICGC Zoe Temple Choir.
